Greetings Descendants of Vinester & Inell Reese:
My name is Dennis Reese, and it is with much Pride that I accept the Torch of Leadership to chair the Reese Family Reunion Events for 2010. I am the Seventh child born to the union of Bishop Ernest Reese Sr. and Mildred Reese of Tifton, Ga., the grandson of Vinester & Inell Reese, the great grandson of Will & Frances Reese and Isom & Lena Burton the great great grandson of Richard & Laura Reese. I currently reside in Tifton, Georgia, with my wife (Linda) and our son (Nigel – 15). The Reese family has an extremely rich heritage, and we must continue to share these treasures with each new generation. Our roots are very strong! This is why a family reunion is a time of great joy and excitement, because it gives us an opportunity to learn a little more about how powerful our ancestors were and who and what we must continue to strive to become. In the world that we live in, families are often scattered around the globe. Loved ones may not see or talk to one another for years, even though a car or airplane ride may be the only thing separating them. A family reunion is a time to reflect and catch-up on life events. Always remember, that although you may feel close to your neighbors and friends, there is no one quite like family. No, we don’t get to choose who our family members are because that is not the way that God planned it. Why, because as family we share something special, a legacy of ancestors who cared deeply for us, a rich history that is mysteriously connected, and a bloodline that’s rich and powerful. Most of all, when you really need a strong shoulder to lean on, family members are the ones most likely to come through. Greetings from the 2010
